A. "In the 1930s, two people who worked for Andrew Mellon, founder of the Aluminum Company of America (ALCOA), came up with the idea of fluoridating community drinking water. Mellon was US Treasury Secretary at the time, which also made him head of the Public Health Service. He had one of the services researchers, Trendley Dean, study the effects of naturally fluoridated water on teeth. Dean confirmed that fluoride causes discoloration of teeth, but he hypothesized that it also prevents cavities. Mellon then urged Gerald Cox, a researcher at the Mellon Institute in Pittsburgh, to study the effect of fluoride on tooth-decay in rats. Cox determined that it had a beneficial effect and proposed, in 1939, that the US fluoridate its public water supply." iodine4health.com/research/miller_2006_text_fluoride_talk.doc
Fluoride is a poison. The man who first "discovered" that fluoride in drinking water helped prevent cavities, Gerald Cox, later reversed his opinion. However, many municipalities still insist on fluoridating water and the ADA has pretty much covered up the dangers of fluoride just as they did with mercury fillings in the past. Fluoride used to be used in rat poison and insecticides. It is EXTREMELY toxic. It is thousands of times more toxic than lead. Don't listen to the guy who answered your question who said it's nothing to worry about. Just do some research on the Internet.
My 8 year old son has permanent white spots on his front teeth (dental fluorosis) because my ex-wife used to give him fluoride tablets that a dentist prescribed. There are a growing number of dentists who will not use fluoride in their practices anymore. I've read that taking fluoride internally does absolutely no good for your teeth, and in large enough amounts can cause damage to your thyroid, your bones, your teeth and even cause brain damage. It has been shown to cause lower IQs in children in areas where the water supply is heavily fluoridated. They say that the only way it really helps "harden" your teeth is if it is applied directly to them, which some dentists do.
Last time my little boy had that done, he swallowed some of it and was really sick afterwards. Why? Simple. It's a POISON! Now he has these white patches on his front teeth. He also has a weight problem which started a few years ago, and I'm beginning to suspect that his thyroid is involved. Excess fluoride consumption (my wife used to give him the little fluoride "supplements" the dentist prescribed) can damage your thyroid, causing hypothyroidism. He also suffers with constipation, which is another symptom of hypothyroidism. The poor kid. I'm trying to find a lawyer to sue the dentists who told us he needed this fluoride sh*t. They didn't tell us they were poisoning him. I had to find out for myself.
You are VERY WISE to beware of fluoride. It's a poison, plain and simple. It has no business being in the human body. I would also suggest some of the infant toothpaste you can buy at Walmart's and drug stores like the other person suggested. That's what I have my son brush with now. I'm never giving him anything with fluoride in it again. I also read that some dentists who no longer use fluoride recommend baking soda and peroxide mixed together into a paste, but I'm not sure of the amounts. You could look it up on the Internet.
The guy who said his daughter, I believe it was, swallowed a whole tube of toothpaste is VERY lucky, unless it didn't have fluoride in it to begin with. From what I've read on the Internet a half tube of fluoridated toothpaste ingested by a young child can be FATAL. There are many good websites about the danger of fluoridation. Here's one of them: http://www.fluoridealert.org/health/
BTW, as I mention above, there is some evidence that TOPICALLY applied fluoride directly on the teeth has a hardening effect on the tooth. However, from what I understand, while it may harden the enamel to some extent, it actually makes the inside of the tooth softer. So why risk poisoning yourself for such dubious benefits as that? Bottom line is that just as mercury fillings were in the past, fluoride is currently the biggest scam perpetrated on the American populace by the ADA. It is actually an industrial waste product from the manufacture of aluminum.
Aluminum manufacturers are big beneficiaries of the fluoride hoax, because before the ADA brainwashed the dental professional community and most of the American public, the aluminum manufacturers didn't have a way to profit from utilizing waste products from their manufacturing process. Now they do.
They sell their waste to municipalities to put in their water supply and to dental professionals, who smear it on your teeth and gums (the gums have a lot of blood vessels and absorb substances applied to them quite efficiently) and then they give you prescriptions for little fluoride pills so you can poison yourself and your children. Particularly your children, because they have brainwashed us to believe our children need it even more than we do.
"Sodium fluoride, a hazardous-waste by-product from the manufacture of aluminum, is a common ingredient in rat and cockroach poisons, anesthetics, hypnotics, psychiatric drugs, and military nerve gas. It's historically been quite expensive to properly dispose of, until some aluminum industries with an overabundance of the stuff sold the public on the terrifically insane but highly profitable idea of buying it at a 20,000% markup, injecting it into our water supplies, and then DRINKING it." http://www.geocities.com/missionstmichael/Fluoride5.html
The aluminum manufacturers toxic waste becomes part of your body and your children's bodies, which cannot even handle it as well, so they get blotchy teeth, thyroid problems, skeletal deformities, and even brain damage if the consumption is high enough.
Incidentally, your body cannot rid itself of this poison. It just keeps accumulating. Nice, huh?

What is the funniest movie you've ever seen?
Q. looking for a funny movie.
A. Here are a few that I enjoy....they are some old ones though.
KNOCKED UP
When Alison Scott is promoted in E! Television, she goes to a night-club to celebrate with her older married sister Debbie. Alison meets the pothead reckless Ben Stone and while having a small talk with Ben, Debbie's husband Pete calls her to tell that their daughter has chicken pots. Debbie leaves the place but Allison stays with Ben, drinking and dancing along all night; completely wasted, they end up having a one night stand. Ben does not use condom and eight weeks later, Allison discovers that she is pregnant. She calls Ben and they decide to try to stay together and have the baby. However, Ben needs to grow-up first to raise a family of his own.
DEUCE BIGALOW
Deuce Bigalow is a less than attractive, down on his luck aquarium cleaner. One day he runs into a male gigolo who asks him to look after his precious fish while he is away on business. However, he wrecks the house and needs quick money to repair it. The only way he can make it is to become a gigolo himself, taking on an unusual mix of female clients. He encounters a couple of problems, though. He falls in love with one of his unusual clients, and a sleazy police officer his hot on his trail.
NOTHING TO LOSE
When a man (Robbins) believes he has discovered that his wife is having an affair with his boss, it sets off a chain reaction of events. First he wanders into a ghetto where a robber (Lawrence) tries to take his money at gunpoint, but instead sets a wild ride from California to Arizona. The two eventually become reluctant friends. Discussing robbery techniques, they decide to get back at the boss by robbing an office safe containing hundreds of thousands of dollars. Life is further complicated by another pair of robbers who chase the first two for infringing on their territory.
HOUSEGUEST
Kevin Franklin (Sinbad) has a dream, but he's having trouble finding the on- ramp to the fast lane of his first million. Borrowing from loan sharks to finance a new business, Kevin finds himself in debt to the Gasperini Brothers. Seizing an opportunity to escape, Kevin passes himself off as a prominent Baltimore dentist to an unsuspecting Pittsburgh family, The Youngs, becoming their houseguest for a weekend. He has to shake the mobsters as well as make sure he does not blow his cover.
