Q. I'm planning to get my tongue pierced tomorrow but I just realized I have a dentist appointment on Wednesday. Should I wait until after my appointment to get my tongue pierced or should my appointment not affect my piercing?

Wait to get it pierced after that way when they're cleaning and they have to spray inside of your mouth with the water or use a suction, you don't cringe with pain or risk getting an infection from any of the flouride or anything (as a precaution, even though you probably wouldn't. it would probably burn though..)

A. If you are in pain you will be seen the same day. A referral to the orthodontist is not considered an emergency. You may want to call and they can put you on a call list and if someone breaks or cancels an appointment, they can call you right in.
What happens if I can't make it to my dentists appointment while I have a very important soccer game to watch?
Q. My dentist appointment is at 4:15pm on Wed., July 15, 2012 but while there's a VERY important soccer game (it starts at 3pm on Telefutura and U.D.N.) that I don't want to lose. What should I DO if I can't go to that appointment?! They can't reschedule or cancel the dentist appointment.
