Q. and refuses to smile without it & doesnt like to go too many places until she gets her implant? and they also think she is being ridiculous for keeping a low profile until dental work is complete.
A. It can be slightly embarrassing for the person concerned and others who are not in that position can not understand this. If the implant is not visible part of the mouth then you friend can consider going out without too much trouble. Another option is to get a temporary crown while she waits for the permanent tooth. The dentist should help in this.
Whether she wants to mix with people or not is ultimately her decision.
If your friend is comfortable enough she can consider going out since her friends don't seem to mind it. I mean if the beholder isn't offended...

What can I use to whiten my teeth without a dentist laser?
Q. I brush and floss daily, but my teeth are still yellowish. I can't afford to get my teeth whitened by a dentist and I don't want to use whitening strips because they haven't helped before. I need suggestions on what I can possibly use instead and how do use it. Thank you!
A. I am a dentist, if you are looking for the best teeth whitening, check out this

You'll get a white and bright smile just in 1-2 days and it'll last for 6 months or longer.

Can a dentist make a small tooth look normal size or give me a fake one?
Q. All but two of my teeth are normal size. They're very small and it almost looks like they're missing when I smile. I want to get them fixed. The rest of my teeth are straight and normal but the small ones really mess up my smile. Can I get a fake one or can they make it look bigger some how? About how much would it cost?
A. Yes. A dentist can cap the teeth and adjust the size to fit the rest of the teeth surrounding it. This sort of cosmetic surgery is done every day -- hundreds of times. Most of the actors in Hollywood and politicians, businessmen and women , models, and others, probably have had something similar done just for purposes of phtography and vanity.
As to the cost involved, that depends on the dentist and the amount of work necessary, and the type of cap involved. It could be a couple of hundred for the two, or for each, or more, considering the needs of your mouth and teeth. You can call any dentist's office and they can give you at least an approximation of the average cost.

The dentist relined my bottom denture but teeth stick up more on one side than the other. How is it fixed?
Q. When I smile, you can only see my bottom teeth on one side. They aren't level all the way around. Is this the fault of the relining?
The bottom denture is a full denture.
The bottom denture is a full denture.
A. It could have been measured/molded wrong but go back to the dentist immediately. It is bad for your jaw and other teeth, and have your dentist fix this mistake, don't wait.
