What is a good home remedy for grinding teeth while you sleep?

Q. My fiance grinds his teeth at night and I tell him that it is going to cause damage and pain to his TMJ, but he won't go see a dentist. What do I do? PLEASE HELP!!!

A. You can go to any chain pharmacy and buy a mouthpiece that is self fitting which is better than nothing and very cheap. Most you boil first and then have him place it in his mouth and follow directions for adjustment. If that doesnt help he needs medical follow up are he will loose his teeth after lots of pain!!!!!! I have TMJ and know what happens when you cant stop grinding your teeth and it isnt fun. Buy the mouthpiece for him as a get well gift. Hope this helps you.

Anyone know of a natural way to whiten teeth?
Q. This friend of mine has no insurance therefore cannot afford a dentist. Her teeth are almost brown from drinking too much beverage. I would like to help her out, and any ideas on how to give her the info without making her feel embarrassed or awkward is welcome. thanks.

A. What is probably going on with your friends teeth is heavy staining. She probably needs a good teeth cleaning to remove the stains before she tries to whiten them. You could try giving her a gift card for a dental spa so she could get a cleaning and maybe some bleach trays. This way it would feel like shes getting a gift like a manicure or a massage and would feel special and not offended.
Hope that helps!

What should I get this for these people?
Q. I'm planning to get my boss and coworker cologne/perfume, but not sure what kind. I'm not a fan of perfumes, but figure it would be easier that way as gifts. If you have any ideas on what I should besides that, please let me know. My price range is from 20-40 dollars. Also, I am avoiding homemade cookies for these people. Oh, and if you know any good cologne/perfume please let me know too. Thanks!

A. In my opinion something that's cute for a boss are those metal people doing a job. You see it sometimes in a doctors office, dentist or even on a teacher's desk. There basically twisted metal wire sick figures that are posed to seem like there doing a particular job, in this case a man sitting at a work desk would be approietee if you work in an office. You can personalize it to say the bosses name. They usually cost 25-35 dollars. For a co- worker nick knacks for their work space is nice. Candles, photo frames, body lotions from bath and body works ( if it's a girl). A place where they sell amazing smelling candles are a place called Yankee Candles. They literally have all the scents under the sun. The prices can range from 10-35 dollars depending on the size. I hope I helped and Happy Holidays!!
