Does anyone know of an affordable dentist in the houston area?

Q. It's for my elderly mother who is on a fixed income. The dentist in our small town gave her and estimate of $4300 for two crowns and an upper and lower partial...I think that is ridiculous, so I told her I would call around the houston area before letting her go back there. Please help and thanks in advance.

You will be able to meet them and tell them your concerns and they will be able to discuss your treatment options and reassure you about the treatment. Many people are scared of dentists and the dentist you see will try to work with you to make you comfortable. Just try to be calm and tell them that you are worried about it.
Regarding the money, many dentists have payment plans. You can ask about this after you've found out what sort of treatment they recommend.
