Q. At the dentist appointment when you actually get braces put on do you get stuff done before that? I have had separators and moulds but at the actual appointment do you get anything done other than the actual application of the braces? Sorry if this doesn't make sense. Also what are the steps of having your braces put on?
Thanks.
Thanks.
A. Well, first they clean your teeth and use a dental glue to attach a band around your back teeth. They then use this glue that tastes really bad to attach each bracket and then a blue light that dries the glue super fast. They put a wire over the brackets and attach it to the band. Then you pick your colors :D It may be sore for 3 or 4 days, but you'll get use to it in no time!
What to expect at first dentist appointment for my toddler?
Q. My son is 19 1/2 months old and his first dentist appointment is tomorrow. Now i know what to expect at routine check ups, xrays, cleaning.
But just curious as to what exactly they will do and how they do it with such a young toddler?
Also, if anyone can share there experiences on how their toddlers reacted to the dentist and how they handled it?
Thank you for any information you have.
I was told they should have there first visit 6 months after they get their first tooth or any time after their first birthday.

A. My daughter's dentist did just a regular check up by looking around in her mouth. He talked with her a little about brushing her teeth and reminded her how important it was and so on. He gave her a toothbrush & other dental related things in a bag.
Would it be possible to have my dentist appointment scheduled sooner?
Q. I have a dentist appointment to get a cavity in my front tooth filled in September, but I really want to get it filled sooner because school starts in 3 weeks and it is noticeable. I know you can get your appointment bumped up if the tooth is causing you pain, but do you think the dentist would reschedule it so I can go ahead and have it filled?
A. Once you have decided that you do need a dentist appointment, make sure that you call the right person. Some dentists offer emergency treatment as a way of making up for their lack of business at other times of the year. They may be poor dentists are therefore only able to make money in emergencies. This is not the kind of dentist appointment that you want. Instead, it is much better to find a dentist who can do a great job with your mouth and end your pain.
How bored do you have to be to look forward to a dentist appointment?
Q. Seriously, I have a dentist appointment today and I am almost looking forward to it because the only other thing I have to do is my summer reading for English.
A. Very
